In addition to the naming rules, these are more rules that may deny you acceptance to a character.
SECTION I Fur colors
Your have the right to give your warrior whatever realistic color a cat can be in this world. Some fur colors that I've seen people try to make that are not realistic to our world or natural are, but are not limited to-
- Violet
- Real blue- Anything blue that isn't blue-gray, is considered real blue.
- Blood red- Crimson is the closest you can get to blood red, and even that isn't close to blood.
- Green.
- Pink- There are some cases where a cat has 'pinkish-gray' fur.
Be reasonable with fur colors. I don't think a violet-furred warrior would be that amazing anyways- more or less, ugly.
SECTION II Fur markings
So now that we explained what fur colors are and aren't allowed, let's get into markings. Your cat can have any of the following markings, as long as it's native to the breed.
- Tabby- The most common marking on cat. A tabby cat marking can be mottled, spotted, or plain, with the tiger stripes and 'M' on forehead.
- Tortoiseshell/calico- A mostly female breed, it is highly uncommon to find a tortoiseshell/calico male around. On this site you may only purchase a tortoiseshell/calico male from the shop.
- Tuxedo- Exactly what it says. It's typically a black and white marking, like that of a suit. Sometimes can be considered the "Oreo cookie".
- Mitted- These cats are commonly the cats with a normal body color all throughout, and then white paws. The cat itself is not white anywhere other than its paws and maybe a few places elsewhere.
These are the typical, well-known cat markings. If you would like your cat to have a different marking, just say so in the biography and put it in the appearance. As long as the marking's are realistic, they're fine.
"Marking's from StarClan" are not allowed. An example of this would be this picture. Please, do not say your cat has markings from StarClan. Just make a normal cat.
SECTION III Eye colors
A cat is a creature that's eyes can look to be many different colors. Sometimes, the eyes look different when narrowed, and when the pupils are wide. Those are cases when a cat has bright yellow eyes when they are narrowed, but they look almost yellow-green when widened. A cat's eyes cannot change from blue to yellow. Here are some unacceptable eye colors.
- Violet.
- Red- The closest you can get to red eyes is amber.
- Black- The pupil is black, but the eye itself cannot be.
- White- A cat has white in the surrounding eye tissue, but the color within the eye itself cannot be white.
- Pure gray- Pure gray is unacceptable. But variations, such as blue-gray, are allowed because real cats have had those eye colors.
- Multi-colored- Yes, some cats do have one eye different from the other. But on this site, because it does get out of control on most warrior's sites, I will not allow cats to have multi-colored eyes.
SECTION IV Limitations
I have no limitations to the number of cats you have on this site as long as you can keep them active. If a staff member sees that one or more of your cats have not been played in awhile we may ask you to delete them. If you make a cat, it's to role-play that cat, not just for the purpose of making one.
You are limited to one high position on this site. Leaders, Deputies, Medicine cats, and Medicine cat apprentices are all considered high positions. If you have a leader, then you can't have a medicine cat apprentice. Same for all the others. Only one, please. That makes it fair for other members who may want a high position also.
For every five cats you have in one clan, you must also have one cat in any of the other clans. That means, if you have five ShadowClan cats, then you have to make one cat in either ThunderClan, RiverClan, or WindClan in order to make another ShadowClan cat. So if you have ten ShadowClan cats, you must have two cats in any different clan. That's just to help balance stuff out for you.
When purchasing different cats, you may only have one of each. So, if you buy a male tortoiseshell warrior, you may only have one of those even if you want to purchase another. If that warrior dies, then feel free to buy another male tortoiseshell. You can buy as many different kind of markings as you want, as long as it's only one of each.
You may not role-play a rogue, loner, or kittypet on this site. This is purely a warrior's site. Your cat also may not have been born a kittypet, loner, or rogue, as this causes problems and we hear excuses about unrealistic clan names being that way because they were loners. This is about tradition, not loners and rogues. This is not a feral cat's role-play, but a warrior cats.
Section V Gary Stues-Mary Sues
A gary Stu-mary sue, is a cat that is created to have the appearance or personality equal to that of perfection, or a god. The only difference is that a gary-Stu describes a male, and a mary-sue describes a female. Here are some examples.
- Gary Stu- He has such beautiful fur! There is nothing quite like it! No female can just walk past without noticing. In battles, everyone is just staring at him because he's so perfect.
- Mary-sue- She's got amazingly blue eyes! They like, stare right through you. She can see everything and everyone, and nothing escapes her eyes. They're just so beautiful, everyone looks into them.
- Gary-Stu- He's the best fighter in all the clans! He can beat all four clans single pawed without getting hurt. He's so powerful that everyone's scared of him! He's killed dogs and badgers, and even twolegs!
- Mary-sue- She's the greatest hunter! She can feed her entire clan all on her own! Everyone wishes they would hunt for their clan. Even in leaf-bare she catches enough for every cat to have something to eat.
You see? That's just ugly and perfectionist. Everyone has flaws, in everything they do. Even though they can be better at some things than others, they are not perfect.
