We honestly have no rules for affiliating as long as your banner does not flash or have any annoying animations on it. Those are just a pain to deal with as they cause the page to lag for some slower computers.
Also, please make sure that your site has a fairly decent skin, with no inappropriate material on it. I don't want to click on your affiliate only to be led to a site with a logo of a girl cutting herself. That's just disgusting and against Proboards TOS.
We don't want affiliates to dead sites, so make sure that more than just you are on the active users list in the past 24 hours when you post the affiliate. Other than that, I don't have very many requirements. Affiliates are to help everyone get the site going so I don't want to deprive people of being able to have them.

If you place us on static, then we will place you on static. Same with scrolling. But, if there are no open static positions left, you will be placed on scrolling and we will notify you. Scrolling is always open.
